CAREER

Born on 17th March 1988 in Lagos, Nigeria - Johnson has always been passionate when it comes to arrangements and directing music. He has produced and arranged for some of the best groups and solo acts in the Kenyan music industry. He has worked with Noel Nderitu, Voices of Purpose, Nairobi Chapel worship team, Fena, Rabbit, Annisstar Arning, among others. He has also worked as a co producer alongside super producer Jaaz Odongo. He has won awards including the Outstanding Leadership award courtesy of Nairobi Chapel Oscar Awards. Teaming up with Wyclef Jean on the remix of Divine Sorrow on set of Coke Studio Africa Season Two is one of his achievements. His influences include Kevin Bond, Aaron Lindsey, Wole Oni, Robert Glasper among others.

BACKGROUND

Johnson's passion for music started as a little boy while he followed his parents to church. He started playing drums at the age of twelve before he finally picked up the piano few years later. Through hard work and passion, he started becoming a force to reckon with as a sound keyboard player and musical director both in his home country Nigeria and Kenya, where he currently resides.
