In Kenya, they call him ‘baba yao’ (the big boss of genge). Jua Cali is a rapper of many firsts. He was the first Kenyan artist to get a big endorsement; and the first and longest to pitch tent at Calif Records. He’s since got out of the ghetto but you can’t take the ghetto out of him. No matter what artist or audience you put him with—he always keeps it real. Always delivering dope rhymes. He never misses to meet his fans and leave a lasting impression. You will attest to this as you watch him on Coke Studio Africa season 3.
