Wangechi Waweru is a Kenyan rapper who describes her music as a mix of Indie rap, Soul and Instrumental. She plays the piano and the bass guitar. She is behind tracks like her mixtape ‘Consume Chakula ya Soul’, the single ‘Lega mega sega’ and her latest release ‘Analogue’, which features Karun.

Wangechi started rapping in high school, but released her first track on the internet in 2011. Producer Kevin Provoke heard her track, then looked for her. He has played a big role in teaching and mentoring her. Wangechi has also received mentorship from Rabbit.
Compared to most musicians, Wangechi started her music career quite young and studies financial economics other than music.
