Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke from Lagos, Nigeria is popularly known in the music industry as Masterkraft. Boasting a medley of genres ranging from gospel, soul, jazz, R&B, afro beats and highlife - Masterkraft’s leadership in production is a major contributor to the success of many A-list artistes including Flavour, Banky W, Wizkid, Solid Star and Bracket. He returns on Coke Studio Africa 4 producing the artiste pairings: Cynthia Morgan (Nigeria) and Henok Mehari (Ethiopia), Sauti Sol (Kenya) and Fally Ipupa (DRC) and Chameleone (Uganda) and Neyma (Mozambique).


The multi-talented music producer is also a DJ, recording artiste, band director, pianist and a songwriter. As a producer, his expertise has placed several productions on popular award ceremonies and nominations. Such albums include Blessed by Flavour (nominated at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards for Best Album of the Year 2014), That Kind Guy by Dvyne (nominated at National Gospel Awards 2014), Super Star by Wizkid (Winner Best album of the Year at The Headies 2012).


Other artistes he has worked with include Eldee, Jaywon, J.Martins, Sound Sultan, Lynxx, Sammie Okposo, Stella Damascus, Capital F.E.M.I, The Pulse and Busta Rhymes among others. He also serves as CEO of his music production firm, Masterkraft Beats. He’s however never just the big boss. Upon request, he also works as a band director for live performances and DJs across Nigeria and internationally. He has also served as a band director for several artistes and bands including Flavour’s, Tim Godfrey and The Xtreme Crew (a frontline gospel contemporary group in Nigeria).


Starting a career in music at the age of eleven, Masterkraft has since experienced success that continues to be overwhelming in recent years.
