Upon his return several years later, he would release his first single Letigo featuring Nameless that instantly brought him into the limelight. By May 2016, Nyashinski released his first official solo song and video Now You Know, which hit 1 Million views on YouTube six months later, becoming the first video by a Kenyan rapper to get to that status. His sophomore single Mungu Pekee, released in October 2016 became an instant hit in Kenya and eventually abroad.

As Nyashinski continues to perform at various events and festivals in East Africa, his music keeps topping the charts. In 2016, he won the Pulse Music Video Awards for Male Video of the Year and Most Viewed Video of the Year.
