He would listen to the likes of Meiywa, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Tupac, Stezo and DDF, and also play his sister the piano. At 15, he joined the choir where he learnt to control his vocals. In 2008, Shado’s father decided to produce his first music project ''Metizik'' which consisted of 10 tracks. Despite the album flopping, Shado never stopped producing music and working with young artistes in his neighborhood—this was the start of his road to stardom. Away from music, Shado Chris holds a Baccalaureate (C-series) and is also an Engineer in Telecommunications.
